so I wont be uploading any new artwork on here until 2025, mainly cuz of how weirdly OCD I can get about my art gallery. Going into the new year is honestly really scary for me. I FINALLY have some stability in my IRL life but I know it can very easily be ripped out from under my feet basically at any moment. I guess that's what I get for being a trans women in the USofA and there might come a time in the next year where I may have to move out of the country.

Anyway on a brighter note, I've gotta say I'm really happy with the sheer output of my artwork 60 pieces of artwork on here alone, more if you include some of the variations. I do personally think that my artwork also took a quantum leap forward in overall quality this year too. Which I do have to owe some of that to the art stylist youtube channel.

artistically I do wish to do more pixel art and I also want to revisit doing 3d art once more as well going into 2025, I have some things in mind for both of those potential projects. I also just splurged on an electronic drum set and a bass guitar recently, I also plan on getting an electric guitar soon too. All that to say I'm hoping to get some more music up in 2025 as well, I've got a lot of half finished projects sitting on my computer right now that haven't seen the light of day.

My audhd brain has been on shockingly long creative high note, I just hope i can keep up the pace in 2025.

howdy howdy y'all. No I don't why I type like a southern Texan when I'm from the north BUT ANYWAY. I wanted to write up a little blog post about what I'm up to art-wise and what I'm planning on doing for my next couple sets of....uh...um..media work? is that a good word for it? well what i mean is what I'm planning on doing for my NG page here in the near future.

first up, I do want to give a warning about what I'm planning on uploading next as I am planning on doing what I call a 4 set of not safe for work adult art pieces, basically the next 4 art-pieces i upload will be an A rating and it will be kink art. I've admittedly always flip flopped on weather to make adult artwork or not but I had a not safe for work creative streak and I do want to upload those pieces here, I have three of the four of them complete, and stupidly the raunchiest piece of the bunch also happens to be the best colored one....go figure.

Next up, I'm far enough along in working on a 12ish page comic (as in I have it all roughed out and the 1st 4 pages inked as of typing) that I feel like I can at least talk about it. I've learned from past creative projects to never promise a single solitary thing that I'm going to do even if there's nobody on the other end. so right at the moment don't get your hopes up. What I will say now is that if (and it is an if) i get the comic uploaded it'll be a pg-13ish/ T rating. Still godspeed future me, I want to introduce my characters and their personalities to the world.

musical notes, see what I did there? As of right now I have 8 music tracks here on newgrounds. While i do have a lot more over on bandcamp I AM hoping to come up with at least 4 new music tracks, by the way if anybody knows of a good music audio DAW for linux that's not ardour I'm all ears. right now i use an older version of ableton but I'd like to leave windows in the dust as much as possible. I often write up music when I'm so pose to be doing something else but the number of music tracks being 8 and not 12 is honestly bugging me enough to come up with at least 4 more tune to throw on here. An audio 4 set if you will. P.S. commenting on my work influences what i decide to do so plz comment on my work.

pixel-art and games. So just today I uploaded my first real pixel-art piece, this time around it's admittedly a bit of a stop-gap piece while I work on other things such as what I've already listed above. I am hoping to get more pixel artwork in because the constraints of the medium really force you to think in a certain way that you don't have to worry about in other mediums. It's a fun challenge to be so limited in your color pallette choices and if you need the art to be tileable or not. Speaking of games! clunky segway. I'm also starting to write game design documents, I have godot and while i'm not a coder really I am wanting to get into making small games I can upload here to see what people think of them. given all of the other projects I've got going this one's unlikely to happen any time soon but even having a game document for even a smaller newgrounds sized game can make things go a LOT faster.

so those are my many art plans but some closing thoughts; while this year's been one of my most creative so far things should start to be picking up at my day job given the fact that i currently work in a ski-resort town so I'm expecting to slow down a little bit as our winter season picks up; I am hoping that they hire me on there but it is seasonal so if not I'll probably continue with my artistic endeavors....i have a lot of them afterall.

i figured I'd actually use my news/blog journal thing since there's been some IRL stuff in my life happening that may affect my upload frequency. So recently I became an IRL bus driver; like one a those public transit bus driver jobs. It's a really good job that pays pretty well so no complaints from me. I do want to draw up something in reference to my bus driving job. Honestly I'd love to do a whole series either as individual art piece or as a comic or something paying homage to the many jobs I've had over the years. Now in my real IRL life I do also have a part time job type thing that I wont get into the details of but the part time thing isn't something i can just up and quit so what that means for my artwork is that i don't have quite as much time for my art as I did even just a little over a month ago.

Like I'd absolutely LOVE to continue working the couple of comics I did recently, namely the one with the robot snowman but I know right at the moment that I don't REALLY have the time for it. I wish I did because it's a great way to introduce my characters to y'all and get a feel for what they're all about and a good excuse to draw things I wouldn't normally draw. like backgrounds, something I want to draw more of.

lastly I am wondering what people would want to see more (or less of) of from me. Being totally honest here I practically live for positive comments and good ratings etc. maybe not the healthiest but it's a reality for me, at the end of the day I just want people to like what I'm drawings.

I'm doing my best to keep this blog post SFW as I can to keep that E rating honest but I genuinely don't know if people have an interest in my more adult work or not on here. I know my personal favorite thing to actually draw are the odd OC characters that look like they belong in some olde obscure Sega genesis game. Not so much the adult work, tho I do think there's a place for it. If I get the time again I know I'd love to continue down the comic booking route, people seemed to enjoy them and I have other characters whose stories i want to tell, I've had one story in mind for a while about a character losing their ability to walk (something that actually happened to me IRL)

so with all that throw some text words up. I wanna know what the peeps want so I can delight/disappoint them with muh drawings

I have art thoughts newgrounds! art thoughts i tells ya! I mostly need to do a small rant about making adult art and I got one actual news item.

OK so I have this permanently mixed feeling about drawing adult artwork, like I kinda feel like I'm obligated to make the adult artworks since that's the kind of artwork that apparently makes money. apparently. Don't get me wrong I'm not going to stop making the spicy work but I find it weirdly frustrating to make, and just not for *those* reasons my art brain definitely kicks in and start telling me things like 'the composition is wrong!' or 'do you even know your color theory!?' while I'm drawing what is obvious fetish pr0n artwork and I mean yeah watching positive comments and likes and that sort of thing is itself kind of a dopamine rush, more plz, it's also the inverse whenever theres a downvote or whatever and i like OMG no! less of that, less I tell you. Can you tell I have adhd? It's obvious to me now that I got my diagnosis.

what I actually prefer drawing are cartoons that look like they could have been pulled right out of an olde obscure sega genesis game. Like drawing spiritual successor bosses to rocket knight or dynamite headdy is honestly more my thing. I am genuinely wondering if other artists who make adult art, even on occasion feel similarly to how I do about it, on top of that all the adult things I draw are appealing to my uhh tastes and I dunno there's something weird about that. Maybe I'm being a bit of a prude here but I just had to express my frustration around making adult oriented artwork.

I do have an other adult art piece that's almost ready to go so it should be up fairly soon, I may lump it together with other art pieces since i like my art gallery to be a rectangle. No, I don't know why I'm like this. By the way talking what's up and whats in the works. i just noticed that there's a blog option here on newgrounds. Newgrounds, this is too much power for a single creative to hold lol. While i don't think I'll be using this particular feature a ton i'm happy to have it and honestly newgrounds's long running let's be here for creative poeple is, happily kind of astonishing.

so at some point i do want to add some kind of game to my newgrounds acct, i have a feeling my 1st game will either be an obvious 'i followed a tutorial to make this' or a joke game; i did have the idea just a little earlier of making a don't push the big red botton joke game mostly because i think it'd be quick and easy to make and I really do want to get more into actually making games since its literally what my degree is in. .......i mean i was there in hopes of learning animation instead but they didn't actually teach that at the time

speaking of animation i DO also want to make some animated stuff, with my adhd brain i'd have to really be careful about what i decide to work on but yeah games, animation, art & music etc. s'fun!
