howdy and happy may day all!
=========trying out scheduling===============================================
Ok, so I'm trying something relatively new. I've started to use scheduled posting more, my plan is to upload on Sundays specifically, I'm still working what time i think is good too. I've always had a real issue with actually properly keeping to a schedule but I think using the scheduling feature should help with that quite a lot. I can't guarantee weekly uploading, partly because of job instability and partly because I've always struggled with actually keeping to a proper schedule as soon as I tell someone what that schedule is, AUDHD can be a real bitch.
for now what I can say is that if I have anything to upload, it'll go up on a Sunday. I'm also thinking If I have a lot in my scheduled queue to maybe also do a Wednesday upload but only if I have a decent backlog. My basic idea is to try to do something that BOTH works with my weird AUDHD overwork, sleep and do nothing cycle AND the Internet's mighty need for a predictable upload schedule.
=========wavering art quality===============================================
I don't know if anybody noticed in 2025 my quality of art drop but In my mind I think that it did, It's coming back now I'd say but I want to talk about that a little bit. Basically I make sure to do some kind of art on regular as a kind of sanity check for myself. I had a 3 year period where i didn't produce anything because of working at a toxic job and major depression, I've made sure to always be making SOMETHING ever since. What the problem was, stress around my real life IRL situation. I'm a trans-woman in one of the more reactionary parts of the USofA and on top of that I wasn't sure about my job at that time becoming permanent or not. Frustratingly, it didn't but that's what I was expecting. For as much as I don't WANT to move, I still might, I have the means to leave the country and now really would be a great time to do so.
And all that junk on my mind I think showed up in my artwork as well, I actually decided to accept a bit of a dip in quality in favor of having SOMETHING out there. Since I'm in between jobs right now, I've had more time to focus on my art for about the past month or so and I've been discovering some new things that is helping my artwork get better and better
=======happy may day all=================================================
I might be in the USofA land but I'm absolutely insistent on enjoying may 1st! it started in Chicago, if I'm not mistaken in 1908 and the rest of the working world celebrates may 1st so I figure I will too ^^. draw your art on the job....possibly in front of your boss, take a two hour restroom break. work really really slowly. fake being sick and don't go to work.
ok y'all happy arting out there
