so It's been a hot minute since I wrote my last blog, now I'm about to stop uploading to newgrounds for the rest of 2025 just like i did last year, I don't fully know why but in a sort of OCD type of way I really need my art gallery to be a perfect rectangle. I know I'll for sure be uploading one more art piece that's my usual fair tho I don't fully know what just yet.

I do always try to warn people when I'm going to be uploading rated A, not safe for work art so I'll do that here, I will also be uploading 4 A rated pieces here soon. I actually am thinking that I'm going to go all in on drawing the adult content. I've had two people pull out their wallets for that sort of thing so that's what's influencing my decision there. I might write up a separate blog for the details on that so I can give it it's proper rating and go into the spicy details there.

while this year has been an extraordinarily rough year for me, i haven't had a proper job since April, USA land is surging with layoffs and by sheer dumb luck of getting an inheritance is how I've been able to weather this storm. Art wise you might have even noticed a dip in quality from my output for a short while there too. I decided to just draw through it and I think I will be revisiting some of those olde art pieces. I had a a three year art drought once upon a time in my life so now a days I genuinely would prefer to post shitty art than no art at all, for me it's something of a sanity check.

Now at the very end of this year I'm planning on visiting Netherlands so I don't know how the year will start for me artwise, It wouldn't surprise me at all if I simply decide to not come back to the usa, but we'll have to cross that bridge when we get there. I really don't like living in the USA.

anyway I do have a few things that I accomplished this year that I'm proud of, firstly I was able to produce a small 3d animated short, granted It's not very good and it was a good reminder as to why I sort of stopped doing 3d animation stuff. I don't know If i'll pursue it further or not but I also made my first game on here too. Also not very good BUT I was able to use all open source tools for it so I may do more in the games space in 2026.

Artwise I think the only two goals I have are 1. to niche down a little bit (which i do think that means going 18 plus) and making an animatic or two with the tools i have, krita, blender, kdenlive.
