howdy howdy y'all. No I don't why I type like a southern Texan when I'm from the north BUT ANYWAY. I wanted to write up a little blog post about what I'm up to art-wise and what I'm planning on doing for my next couple sets of....uh...um..media work? is that a good word for it? well what i mean is what I'm planning on doing for my NG page here in the near future.

first up, I do want to give a warning about what I'm planning on uploading next as I am planning on doing what I call a 4 set of not safe for work adult art pieces, basically the next 4 art-pieces i upload will be an A rating and it will be kink art. I've admittedly always flip flopped on weather to make adult artwork or not but I had a not safe for work creative streak and I do want to upload those pieces here, I have three of the four of them complete, and stupidly the raunchiest piece of the bunch also happens to be the best colored one....go figure.

Next up, I'm far enough along in working on a 12ish page comic (as in I have it all roughed out and the 1st 4 pages inked as of typing) that I feel like I can at least talk about it. I've learned from past creative projects to never promise a single solitary thing that I'm going to do even if there's nobody on the other end. so right at the moment don't get your hopes up. What I will say now is that if (and it is an if) i get the comic uploaded it'll be a pg-13ish/ T rating. Still godspeed future me, I want to introduce my characters and their personalities to the world.

musical notes, see what I did there? As of right now I have 8 music tracks here on newgrounds. While i do have a lot more over on bandcamp I AM hoping to come up with at least 4 new music tracks, by the way if anybody knows of a good music audio DAW for linux that's not ardour I'm all ears. right now i use an older version of ableton but I'd like to leave windows in the dust as much as possible. I often write up music when I'm so pose to be doing something else but the number of music tracks being 8 and not 12 is honestly bugging me enough to come up with at least 4 more tune to throw on here. An audio 4 set if you will. P.S. commenting on my work influences what i decide to do so plz comment on my work.

pixel-art and games. So just today I uploaded my first real pixel-art piece, this time around it's admittedly a bit of a stop-gap piece while I work on other things such as what I've already listed above. I am hoping to get more pixel artwork in because the constraints of the medium really force you to think in a certain way that you don't have to worry about in other mediums. It's a fun challenge to be so limited in your color pallette choices and if you need the art to be tileable or not. Speaking of games! clunky segway. I'm also starting to write game design documents, I have godot and while i'm not a coder really I am wanting to get into making small games I can upload here to see what people think of them. given all of the other projects I've got going this one's unlikely to happen any time soon but even having a game document for even a smaller newgrounds sized game can make things go a LOT faster.

so those are my many art plans but some closing thoughts; while this year's been one of my most creative so far things should start to be picking up at my day job given the fact that i currently work in a ski-resort town so I'm expecting to slow down a little bit as our winter season picks up; I am hoping that they hire me on there but it is seasonal so if not I'll probably continue with my artistic endeavors....i have a lot of them afterall.
